Hey what's up? I'm David and I think of myself as a person who is pretty chill for the most part. I like hangin out with my friends and meeting new people. I have a couple of hobbies that I accually keep up with. Some I have tried to hard, i guess, because they just didin't work out to well. The hobbie i do most is soccer. I really like this sport and for the most part it seems natural to play. My second favorite hobbie is football. I'm pretty good at kicking, but the best part is being lazy. The coaches don't really care what we do as long as we get the job done. The last of the top three is playing videogames. I got an Xbox last Christmas and have been hooked ever since. I don't think there is a day i go without atleast playing an hour. Even though I have alot of fun, there comes a time when its all about becoming the best in what I do. I get very competetive, especially with soccer and football. Because most of the time if we lose, its a stupid reason or we plane out shouldn't have. Both of my parents hate losing and so do I. It must have been passed down to me at birth. This would probably be my worst weakness, like Superman and kryptonite. And I guess my best strength would be the exact opposite.

On my personal quest I plan to strive to the top in football and especially soccer. In my journey I plan to overcome my obsticles by working hard and being the best I can possible be. But most of all, in this quest I want to find out more about myself and who I really am. At times I think I know what and who I have become, but then comes a doubt and I seem to start all over. One example of this are sports. I still can't make up my mind whether to stick to football or soccer. Like I said before in the first post, they both have there advantages and I seem to have equal skill in these sports. So i really hopoe to find who and what I want to be and really am in these next few years.
I have many people and friends who have helped me through life and to where I am today, but the most important people have always been there for me no matter what. They are like my guides in life and my saftey nets, they will always catch me when i fall. They will pick me up when I am down and will give me whatever it is I need. They always listen when I talk and help counsle me. They are my parents. The example that demonstaits these characteristics the most is when we went on vacation to Red River, New Mexico. We had a great time and all, but there was one thing that stopped me from having the best time. And that is my fear of hieghts, but i overcame that problem once I realized that as long they are at my side I can get through anything.
My friend Travis Tamez is my threshold guardian. He is probably one of my best friends, but always keeps me focused on sports. Travis is the one person I compete with most. Through football and soccer, he is always there to push me to become better than him. For example, this year in soccer he seemed to be much better than me, becase he was moved up to varsity and I wasn't. I had the chance to, but I guess didn't impress coach enough, and Travis did. Now it football we are back at it again. We both kick and hope to be on varsity next year, but all i got to say is I hope he works as hard as I do.
My best friend, and the one who always makes me laugh, is King Davis. We have known each other since first grade and still hang out all the time. Kind is the one person who I can talk to about anything. He always finds a way to cheer me up when I'm down, and helps me with any problem. Also ever time I'm with King, I feel relaxed and don't care about anything except for having fun.
